- Apple Valley Golf Course - This 18 hole, par 72 course features elevated tees, large inviting greens, water hazards and a fresh water stream that winds its way through woods. The 130 acres of rolling hills and woodlands of Apple Valley provide spring, summer and fall beauty, as well as a challenge to your golf game.

- China Inn - A charming Chinese restaurant with plenty of space for large parties. You can sit down or carry out.
- The Dream Golf Course - A greatly designed championship golf course by Jeff Gorney was carved out of a natural forest with elevation charges of 100 feet. Features bent grass tees, greens, and fairways that end in greens which are mostly 10,000 sq. ft or larger. Provides a pleasurable course no matter what level of golfer you are.
- Ogemaw Hills - 13.6 mile, groomed ski, hike, bike trail. Provides a quiet peaceful setting for a scenic walk through nature on beautiful wooded pathways. With plentiful displays of foliage and wildlife from Spring through Fall. Novice, intermediate or advanced x-country skiing. Located at the corner of Clear Lake Rd and Fairview Rd.
- Ogemaw County Historical Museum - Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of Ogemaw County and its families. Exhibits include Parliament Wedding Apparel, Buttons and Bows, Sleepy Time Retreat, Trophy Room and a Military Room. Genealogical and Historical Research for the area available. Admission is free. Hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 2pm. Open May thru the end of September.
- Ogemaw Nature Park - Feed the deer, goats or our pet pig, picnic area, gazebo for weddings, rental hall.
- Oscoda - West Branch - Tawas City Fall Color Tour - This Michigan Sunrise Side fall color tour includes a scenic drive along Lake Huron, unspoiled wilderness and recreation areas, abundant wildlife, and the River Road Scenic Byway along the beautiful Au Sable River.
- The Nightmare Gold Course - 18 hole premier layout and the sister course to the The Dream, creating a one-two combination that puts this area on the map of Michigan's "must play" golf destinations. The sand bunkers located strategically near the landing areas off the tee and greenside are of similar quality, five water hazards come into play. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Northern Michigan terrain. Three sets of tees are currently featured, measuring 7135, 6602 and 5421 yards.
- Rifle River Recreation Area - Over 4,000 acres with streams and ten scenic lakes. A modern 75 site partially shaded and mostly grassy campground features a swimming beach, playground and boat launch. Three rustic campgrounds with 99 campsites. Rustic trailside cabins. Observation tower, picnicking, swimming beach, fishing, ice fishing, boating, canoeing, hunting or trapping, wildlife viewing and sports areas. 14 miles of pathways meandering throughout the park offer hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Snowmobiling. Nearby AuSable River Scenic Byway.
- Snowmobile Trails - Trailhead for the state snowmobile trail systmem are located directly north of town. Click here for map.
- Tanger Outlet Center - Features brand name manufacturers with an average of 40% off retail prices. Provides friendly service, free parking, motorcoach incentives, a children's play area, and a travel information center.
- Troll Landing Campground & Canoe Rental - Take a leisurely canoe or kayak trip for fishing or fun. Northern part of Rifle River adventures await you for a day trip or a week long trip with camping and canoeing.
- West Branch Country Club - An 18 hole, par 72, 6457 yards course with a rating of 70.3/118. There are greens and power cart fees, specials for seniors and twilight golf, a pro shop, club rentals, a driving range, showers, a bar and lounge, banquet facilities, and watered fairways.
- Willow Tree Restaurant - Offers patrons a casual but elegant dining experience. Delicious food, impeccable service, and reasonable prices await diners at the Willow Tree.
